Most of my musical career has revolved around playing songs written by others – which has been a great pleasure and honor. I’m fortunate to have worked with with some amazing songwriters, and to play alongside stellar musicians in various tribute bands. But I’ve also been writing my own songs since I was a teenager. My original music has always taken a back seat to my other musical projects, as I have stayed busy performing with numerous bands and solo artists over the years. But with COVID-19 shutting down the concert industry in 2020, I found myself with extra time and energy on my hands; apparently the time had come to embrace the role of songwriter.
So my plan is to release 52 songs in 2021. Many of the tunes will be brand new or recently composed; others have been sitting around for years. Aging like a fine wine… The songs will be snappy, sad, silly, poppy, quirky; there should be a little something for everyone :-).
